    Add xof state handing for generic sha3 absorb.
    
    The digest life-cycle diagram specifies state transitions to `updated`
    (aka XOF_STATE_ABSORB) only from `initialised` and `updated`. Add this
    checking to the generic sha3 absorb implementation.
