File md5deep.spec of Package md5deep
Name: md5deep # List of additional build dependencies #BuildRequires: gcc-c++ libxml2-devel Version: 3.3 Release: 1 License: GPL v2 or later Source: md5deep-%{version}.tar.gz Group: Productivity/Security Summary: md5deep is a cross-platform set of programs to compute MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, Tiger, or Whirlpool message digests. BuildRoot: %{_tmppath}/%{name}-%{version}-build %description md5deep is a cross-platform set of programs to compute MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, Tiger, or Whirlpool message digests on an arbitrary number of files. md5deep is similar to the md5sum program found in the GNU Coreutils package, but has the following additional features: * Recursive operation - md5deep is able to recursive examine an entire directory tree. That is, compute the MD5 for every file in a directory and for every file in every subdirectory. * Comparison mode - md5deep can accept a list of known hashes and compare them to a set of input files. The program can display either those input files that match the list of known hashes or those that do not match. Hashes sets can be drawn from Encase, the National Software Reference Library, iLook Investigator, Hashkeeper, md5sum, BSD md5, and other generic hash generating programs. Users are welcome to add functionality to read other formats too! * Time estimation - md5deep can produce a time estimate when it's processing very large files. * Piecewise hashing - Hash input files in arbitrary sized blocks * File type mode - md5deep can process only files of a certain type, such as regular files, block devices, etc. %prep %setup %build # Assume that the package is built by plain 'make' if there's no ./configure. # This test is there only because the wizard doesn't know much about the # package, feel free to clean it up if test -x ./configure; then %configure fi make %install make DESTDIR=%buildroot install # Write a proper %%files section and remove these two commands and # the '-f filelist' option to %%files echo '%%defattr(-,root,root)' >filelist find %buildroot -type f -printf '/%%P*\n' >>filelist %clean rm -rf %buildroot %files -f filelist %defattr(-,root,root) # This is a place for a proper filelist: # /usr/bin/md5deep # You can also use shell wildcards: # /usr/share/md5deep/* # This installs documentation files from the top build directory # into /usr/share/doc/... # %doc README COPYING # The advantage of using a real filelist instead of the '-f filelist' trick is # that rpmbuild will detect if the install section forgets to install # something that is listed here %changelog * Sat Sep 06 2008 h31mail@yandex.ru - packaged md5deep version 3.1 using the buildservice spec file wizard
