File README.urpmi of Package NetworkManager

This package includes BETA version of ifcfg-mdv system settings plugin,
which adds support for Mandriva-specific interface configuration to
NetworkManager.

By default this plugin will NOT try to manage interfaces, configured
using Mandriva Control Center, to avoid conflicts with standard tools.
To enable interface to be managed by NetworkManager it is REQUIRED to
set the following in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-XXX:

ONBOOT=no
NM_CONTROLLED=yes

NetworkManager will try to automatically activate these interfaces
on system startup. To change this, set _NM_ONBOOT=no.
