It supports AAC (mp4/m4a/QuickTime) audio files in addtion to mp3 files. If you are not familiar with mp3gain, stop reading this, and go to http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net. AACGain normalizes the volume of digital music files using the ReplayGain algorithm. It works by modifying the global_gain fields in the mp4 samples. Free-form metadata tags are added to the file to save undo information, making the normalization process reversable. AACGain uses the same command-line user interface as mp3gain. BACK UP YOUR MUSIC FILES BEFORE USING AACGAIN! THIS IS EXPERIMENTAL SOFTWARE. %debug_package %prep %setup -q -n %{name}-%{version} #%patch0 -p1 #%patch1 -p1 %build cp -p linux/configure.ac . cp -p linux/Makefile.am.topsrcdir Makefile.am autoreconf -vif CFLAGS="$RPM_OPT_FLAGS -fno-strict-aliasing" \ CPPFLAGS="$RPM_OPT_FLAGS -fno-strict-aliasing" \ CXXFLAGS="$RPM_OPT_FLAGS -fno-strict-aliasing -std=gnu++98" \ %if "%{_ext_faad2}" == "1" %configure --enable-static-build=no %else %configure %endif %__make %{?jobs:-j%{jobs}} %install %makeinstall %clean [ -d "%{buildroot}" -a "%{buildroot}" != "" ] && %__rm -rf "%{buildroot}" %files %defattr(-, root, root) %doc README* %doc aacgain/COPYING aacgain/README %{_bindir}/%{name} %changelog * Tue Jun 20 2017 Wolfgang Bauer <wbauer@tmo.at> - 1.9 - update to 1.9 * Fixed a bug in mp4v2 which caused iTunes music video files to fail with "not a valid mp4/m4a file" error. * Gives a more meaningful error message when attempting to process Apple Lossless files. * Built with updated mp4v2 from Google Code, which should build error-free on modern Windows, Mac and Linux systems. * Built with updated faad2 code, which should build error-free on modern Windows, Mac and Linux systems. * Built with latest mp3gain version 1.5.2 source checked into CVS, which includes id3v2 tag support. * MSVC++ solution and project files have been converted to Visual C++ 2010 Express Edition. * Tue Jun 20 2015 Wolfgang Bauer <wbauer@tmo.at> - add -std=gnu++98 to the compiler flags to fix build with GCC7 in Tumbleweed * Thu Mar 19 2015 Wolfgang Bauer <wbauer@tmo.at> - imported to OBS * Thu Dec 03 2009 Toni Graffy <toni@links2linux.de> - 1.8-0.pm.1 - update to 1.8 * Built with mpeg4ip/mp4v2 version 1.6.1.
