The design goal of this was to make it as efficient to use as possible. A possible use for this is looking up unfamiliar characters for which you cannot remember the reading. The result is placed into the X11 cut buffer ready to paste into a dictionary program, word processor, etc. Authors: -------- <timecop@japan.co.jp> Botond Botyanszki <boti@beer.com> Jim Breen <j.breen@csse.monash.edu.au> %prep %setup0 -n kanji_lookup-%{version} %patch0 -p 1 %patch1 -p 1 %patch2 head -n20 rad.c > credit-list %build # This package failed when testing with -Wl,-as-needed being default. # So we disable it here, if you want to retest, just delete this comment and the line below. export SUSE_ASNEEDED=0 make %install mkdir -p $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/usr/bin/ install -m 755 rad $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/usr/bin/rad mkdir -p $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/usr/share/kanji-lookup install -m 644 radkfile $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/usr/share/kanji-lookup/ %clean rm -rf $RPM_BUILD_ROOT %files %defattr(-, root, root) %doc AUTHORS COPYING INSTALL README credit-list /usr/bin/rad %dir /usr/share/kanji-lookup/ /usr/share/kanji-lookup/radkfile %changelog * Fri Jun 19 2009 coolo@novell.com - disable as-needed for this package as it fails to build with it * Wed May 24 2006 schwab@suse.de - Use RPM_OPT_FLAGS. - Don't strip binaries. * Wed Jan 25 2006 mls@suse.de - converted neededforbuild to BuildRequires * Tue Nov 08 2005 dmueller@suse.de - don't build as root * Thu Aug 28 2003 mfabian@suse.de - forcing the locale to ja_JP.eucJP as this is the only locale supported by this program * Sat Jun 14 2003 mfabian@suse.de - fix "directory not owned by any package". * Sun Sep 16 2001 mfabian@suse.de - compare return value of getopt with '-1' instead with EOF. This makes it work on PPC. * Tue Sep 04 2001 mfabian@suse.de - move radkfile to /usr/share/kanji-lookup/radkfile to avoid conflict with xjdic-data. The radkfile in xjdic-data is slightly different, it is better when kanji-lookup uses it's own radkfile. * Wed Aug 08 2001 mfabian@suse.de - new package: kanji-lookup, Version 1.0
