It solves these equalities by normalising them to /sort-of/ 'SOP' (Sum-of-Products) form, and then perform a simple syntactic equality. For example, this solver can prove the equality between: ' (x + 2)^(y + 2) ' and ' 4*x*(2 + x)^y + 4*(2 + x)^y + (2 + x)^y*x^2 ' Because the latter is actually the 'SOP' normal form of the former. To use the plugin, add the ' OPTIONS_GHC -fplugin GHC.TypeLits.Normalise ' Pragma to the header of your file. %package devel Summary: Haskell %{pkg_name} library development files Group: Development/Libraries/Haskell Requires: %{name} = %{version}-%{release} Requires: ghc-compiler = %{ghc_version} Requires(post): ghc-compiler = %{ghc_version} Requires(postun): ghc-compiler = %{ghc_version} %description devel This package provides the Haskell %{pkg_name} library development files. %prep %setup -q -n %{pkg_name}-%{version} %build %ghc_lib_build %install %ghc_lib_install %check %cabal_test %post devel %ghc_pkg_recache %postun devel %ghc_pkg_recache %files -f %{name}.files %doc LICENSE %files devel -f %{name}-devel.files %doc CHANGELOG.md README.md %changelog
