One of the most complete Open Source Network Storage Appliances (NSA), Openfiler, is now available for your favorite Linux distribution - openSuSE! The OpenFiler NSA provides storage provisioning services, allowing you to divide your storage up and access it via iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS, FTP, WebDAV, and rsync. This project is an attempt to patch the Openfiler source files, originally developed on the rPath Linux platform, to the openSuSE platform. The system has also been rebranded and dubbed the "OpenSuSE Network Storage Appliance." Once SuSE Studio is out of beta, look for CD/DVD and Hard Disk-based images!
