ebook2cw is a command line program (optional graphical user interface
available) which converts a plain text (ASCII, ISO 8859-1 or UTF-8) file (e. g.
an ebook) to Morse code MP3 or OGG audio files.
A graphical user interface (GUI) for ebook2cw. The GUI uses the same
configuration file as ebook2cw, called ebook2cw.conf.
Grig is a simple Ham Radio control (CAT) program based on Hamlib. It is
intended to be highly generic presenting the user to the same graphical user
interface regardless of which radio is being controlled.
Grig supports the most commonly used CAT commands that are implemented by
Hamlib, and integrates well with other ham radio programs like Xlog and gMFSK.
Thanks to Hamlib, grig works with most CAT-capable amateur radios.
HamClock is a kiosk-style application that provides real time space weather,
radio propagation models, operating events and other information particularly
useful to the radio amateur.
The Ham Radio Control Libraries, Hamlib for short, is a development effort to
provide a consistent interface for programmers wanting to incorporate radio
control in their programs. Hamlib is not a complete user application, rather,
it is a software layer intended to make controlling various radios and other
shack hardware much easier. Hamlib will allow authors of such software as
logging programs, digital communications programs, or those wanting to develop
the ultimate radio control software to concentrate on the user interface and
the basic function of the program rather than radio control.
This program continuously shows which beacon of the International Beacon
Project (on the HF bands from 14 through 28 MHz) is currently transmitting. On
X11 systems, it can also show a sunclock-like map with the short and long paths
to the active beacons.
kappanhang remotely opens audio channels and a serial port to an Icom RS-BA1
server. The app is mainly developed for connecting to the Icom IC-705
transceiver, which has built-in Wi-Fi and RS-BA1 server. All features of the
protocol are implemented including packet retransmission on packet loss.
Experimental version of LPCNet that has been used to develop FreeDV 2020 - a HF
radio Digital Voice mode for over the air experimentation with Neural Net
speech coding. It includes a prebuilt model.
PREDICT is a multi-user satellite tracking and orbital prediction program.
Beyond displaying data, it can operate antenna rotators.
QLog is an Amateur Radio logging application. It is based on the Qt framework
and uses SQLite as database backend.
QLogs aims to be as simple as possible, but to provide everything the operator
expects from the log to be. This log is not currently focused on contests.
QSSTV is a program for receiving and transmitting SSTV and HAMDRM (sometimes
called DSSTV). It is compatible with most of MmSSTV and EasyPal
Given two Maidenhead locators, calculates distance (qrb) and azimuth
Or if called as locator, gives the lat/long of a Maidenhead locator.
This is a repository of discontinued ham radio software that won't build on new distributions.

FAPG (Fast Audio Playlist Generator) is a tool to generate list of audio files
(Wav, MP3, Ogg, etc) in various formats (M3U, PLS, HTML, etc). It is designed
for speed even for large lists, and automation use.
LibAiff is a library with support for reading and writing Audio Interchange
File Format (AIFF) files.
libcaption is a library written in C to aid in the creating and parsing of
closed caption data, open sourced under the MIT license to use within community
developed broadcast tools.
An MP4 tagging library where all tags can be accessed and modified. Any tags,
unknown tags or custom tags are never lost when the audio file is updated. A
list of known tags is only used when new tags are added.
