Involved Projects and Packages
Packages for openSUSE.
These packages contain Broadcom's IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n hybrid Linux®
device driver for use with Broadcom's BCM4311-, BCM4312-, BCM4321-,
and BCM4322-based hardware.
This driver also supports the incorrectly identified BCM4328 chipset which is
actually a BCM4321 or BCM4322 chipset.
Clementine is a modern music player and library organiser. Clementine is a
port of Amarok 1.4, with some features rewritten to take advantage of Qt4.
Features:
* Search and play your local music library
* Listen to internet radio from Last.fm and SomaFM
* Edit tags on MP3 and OGG files, organise your music
* Cross-platform - works on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux
* Native desktop notifications on Linux (libnotify) and Mac OS X (Growl)
Low-latency, high-quality voice communication for gamers. Includes game
linking, so voice from other players comes from the direction of their
characters, and has echo cancellation so the sound from your loudspeakers
won't be audible to other players.
MuseScore is a graphical music typesetter. It allows for fast
and easy note entry on a virtual note sheet. It has an
integrated sequencer to allow for immediate play of the score.
MuseScore can import and export MusicXml and standard Midi files.
The rlpr package makes it possible (or at the very least, easier)
to print files on remote sites to your local printer. It includes
BSD-compatible replacements for `lpr', `lpq', and `lprm', whose
functionality is a superset of their BSD counterparts. In other words,
with the rlpr package, you can do everything you could do with the
BSD printing commands, and more. The programs are all GPL'd and
are more lightweight, cleaner and secure than their BSD equivalents.
The software consists of SANE scanner drivers,
"scanimage," and the "saned" daemon.
A SANE scanner driver is used via a SANE front-end.
This package contains the command line front-end "scanimage".
There are graphical front-ends in other packages like
XSane (package xsane), Skanlite for KDE4 (package skanlite),
and Kooka for KDE3 (package kdegraphics3-scan).
The "saned" daemon provides the service "sane-port"
to access scanners that are connected to a server
via network from client hosts that run the "net" meta driver.
Kernel driver SMI2021 USB video/audio capture support
This is a video4linux driver for smi2021 based video capture devices
This package contains the microcode update blobs for Intel x86 and x86-64 CPUs.
UNACE is a tool, that used to unpack ACE archive format.
Unarj allows for unpacking of .arj files, which are widely spread in
the DOS world. It is included for compatibility reasons, to be able to
extract packages from DOS. It should not be used for compressing
packages under Linux. Use gzip, which is the standard, instead.
This project was created for some of my packages for all running openSUSE Versions.
Branch project for Drivers
Some Translations of manpages.
Low-latency, high-quality voice communication like skype
