A stack is a prebuilt root filesystem (rootfs) that supports a specific operating system. The stack works in tandem with a buildpack to support applications running in compartments.

A simple example on how to build containers in OBS

Packages of the SUSE Distribution Migration System (DMS) built for openSUSE Leap 16.1,
so that a Leap 16.1 system can be migrated in place to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 16.1 by
adding a single repository.

Sources are links to devel:DMS; the migration image is republished from devel:DMS:live.

Install with:

zypper addrepo --refresh https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/chuller:/DMS/16.1/ dms
zypper --gpg-auto-import-keys refresh
zypper install SLES16-Migration suse-migration-sle16-activation

A SUSE Linux Enterprise subscription and network access are required for the migration itself.
