Involved Projects and Packages

This package contains the YaST2 component for proxy configuration.

The bindings allow YaST modules to be written using the Ruby language
and also Ruby scripts can use YaST agents, APIs and modules.

Contains the SuSE Linux theme for YaST2.

Empty main package. Helper for different languages reside in subpackages.

This is an attempt to create a fast web interface for the git scm, using a
builtin cache to decrease server io-pressure.

Git is a fast, scalable, distributed revision control system with an
unusually rich command set that provides both high-level operations and
full access to internals.

This package itself only provides the README of git but with the
packages it requires, it brings you a complete Git environment
including GTK and email interfaces and tools for importing source code
repositories from other revision control systems such as subversion,
CVS, and GNU arch.

This package contains a utility for interfacing with devices that
support the Intelligent Platform Management Interface specification.
IPMI is an open standard for machine health, inventory, and remote
power control.

This utility can communicate with IPMI-enabled devices through either a
kernel driver such as OpenIPMI or over the RMCP LAN protocol defined in
the IPMI specification. IPMIv2 adds support for encrypted LAN
communications and remote Serial-over-LAN functionality.

It provides commands for reading the Sensor Data Repository (SDR) and
displaying sensor values, displaying the contents of the System Event
Log (SEL), printing Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) information, reading
and setting LAN configuration, and chassis power control.

This package provides bindings for libzypp, the library for package management.

The Modules package provides for dynamic modification of a user's
environment with module files. Each module file contains the
information needed to configure the shell for an application. Once the
package is initialized, the environment can be modified dynamically on
a per-module basis using the module command that interprets module
files. Typically, module files instruct the module command to alter or
set shell environment variables, such as PATH or MANPATH. Module files
may be shared by many users on a system and users may have their own
collection to supplement or replace the shared module files. The
modules environment is common on SGI/Crays and many workstation farms.

NASM is a prototype general-purpose x86 assembler. It can currently
output several binary formats, including ELF, a.out, Win32, and OS/2.

OpenHPI is an open source project created with the intent of providing
an implementation of the SA Forum's Hardware Platform Interface (HPI).
HPI provides an abstracted interface to managing computer hardware,
typically for chassis and rack based servers. HPI includes a resource
modeling; access to and control over sensor, control, watchdog, and
inventory data associated with resources; abstracted System Event Log
interfaces; hardware events and alerts; and a managed hotswap
interface.

OpenHPI provides a modular mechanism for adding new hardware and device
support easily. Many plug-ins exist in the OpenHPI source tree to
provide access to various types of hardware. This includes, but is not
limited to, IPMI based servers, Blade Center, and machines that export
data via sysfs. For up-to-date status on these components, check out
the status page.

OpenIPMI is an effort to create a full-function IPMI system to allow
full access to all IPMI information on a server and to abstract it to a
level that makes it easy to use.

OpenIPMI consists of two main parts: a device driver that is included
in the Linux kernel and a user-level library that provides a
higher-level abstraction of IPMI and generic services that can be used
on any operation system. This package contains the user-level library
part. This OpenIPMI library also includes the ipmicmd program, a small
program that lets you inject and receive messages.

Redis is an advanced key-value store. It is similar to memcached but the dataset
is not volatile, and values can be strings, exactly like in memcached,
but also lists, sets, and ordered sets. All this data types can be manipulated
with atomic operations to push/pop elements, add/remove elements, perform server
side union, intersection, difference between sets, and so forth. Redis supports
different kind of sorting abilities.
