This project was created for package google-perftools via attribute OBS:Maintained

This project is just a namespace place holder for all Samba subprojects.

The current subprojects are:
- STABLE for the latest upstream maintenance release.
- TESTING for all pre, rc or other version with ongoing development.

The cifs-utils package consist of utilities for doing and managing mounts of
the Linux CIFS filesystem.

Samba is a suite of programs that allows SMB/CIFS clients to use the
Unix file space, printers, and authentication subsystem.

The package named samba contains all programs that are needed to act as
a server. The binaries expect the configuration file to be found in
/etc/samba/smb.conf

The PCP GUI package primarily includes visualisation tools for
monitoring systems using live and archived Performance Co-Pilot
(PCP) sources.
These tools have dependencies on graphics libraries which may or
may not be installed on server machines, so PCP GUI is delivered,
managed and maintained as a separate (source and binary) package
to the core PCP infrastructure.

This software (istgt) is the implementation of iSCSI target
(refer to RFC3720 about iSCSI) developed for FreeBSD.
It includes iSCSI protocol processor and SPC-3 (SCSI Primary
Commands - 3) based logical unit emulation.

AppArmor

Note: In AppArmor 2.11, libapparmor.so* moved to /usr/lib*/. Therefore I don't provide packages for distributions that still expect it in /lib*/ (Leap 42.3 and older).

This package contains the YaST2 component for configuration of an SMB
workgroup/domain and authentication against an SMB domain.

This package contains the YaST2 component for Samba server
configuration.
