Gtk+ frontend to /bin/su. It supports login shells and preserving environment
when acting as a su frontend. It is useful to menu items or other graphical
programs that need to ask a user's password to run another program as another
user.

GnoCHM is a CHM file viewer. It is designed to integrate nicely with Gnome.

It uses PyCHM, a Python package that exports the CHMLIB API. Features are:

* Support for external ms-its links
* Full text search support
* Bookmarks
* Configurable support for HTTP links
* Integrated with Gnome2
* Support for multiple languages (be, cs, de, el, es, fr, hu, it, ja, pl, pt_BR, ru, sv, tr, vi, zh_CN, zh_TW)
* Support to open multiple files at once
* Displays HTML page source

GPG-Crypter is a GTK+ frontend to GPG and it is intended to de- and encrypt text into ASCII-armored gpg-ciphers. It provides textboxes to enter plaintext or ciphers. File encryption and decryption is available since version 0.2.

GSQL is an integrated database development environment for GNOME. It is designed to support multiple database engines.

Enlightenment Image Manipulation Library

This package is based on the package 'imlib2_loaders' from project 'home:dmitry_serpokryl:SOAD'.

This package contains image loader plugins for Imlib 2 that are not dis-
tributed together with the Imlib 2 package itself. More about Imlib 2
can be found on http://www.rasterman.com/imlib.html.

XCF loader:

The XCF loader cannot be packaged together with Imlib 2 because Imlib 2
is distributed under the BSD license, whereas the XCF loader is using
elements of the Gimp's (www.gimp.org) codebase, which is distributed
under the GPL. The XCF loader therefore is GPL'd as well.

2 other loaders are here too:

You can always update your package to the current state just by rebuilding the .spec file:
> rpmbuild -bb *.spec
or by rebuilding the .src.rpm file itself:
> rpmbuild --rebuild *.src.rpm
The new compiled .rpm will be available in /usr/src/packages/RPM/_your_PC_type/

This program tries to prevent unauthorized usage of IPs within the local ethernet broadcastdomain by giving an answer to ARP-requests. After receiving such a faked reply, the requesting party stores the told MAC in its ARP-table and will send future packets to this MAC. Because this MAC is invalid, the host with the invalid IP can not be reached.

Library to control the Music Player Daemon in applications

libplayer is a multimedia A/V abstraction layer API. Its goal is to interact with GeeXboX Open Media Center (OMC).

libplayer provides a generic A/V API that relies on various multimedia player for Linux systems. It currently supports MPlayer, xine and VLC only. More bindings (GStreamer, ...) are bound to come some day.

Its main goal is to provide an unique API that player frontends can use to control any kind of multimedia player underneath. For example, it provides a library to easily control MPlayer famous slave-mode.

libplayer is free software - it is licensed under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL).

Lightweight media scanner meant to be used in not-so-powerful devices, like embedded systems or old machines.

Provides an optimized way to recursively scan directories, handling the parser in a child process, avoiding breaks of the main process when parsers break (quite common with such bad libs and tags).

Parsers are plugins in the form of shared objects, so it's easy to add new without having to recompiling the scanner.

The scanner will use SQLite3 to store file-mtime association, avoiding parsing files that are already up-to-date. This SQLite connection and the file id within the master table 'files' are handled to plugins for relationship with other tables.

Applications should then access the SQLite3 database to get all the informations about scanned media. See tables and fields description at http://lms.garage.maemo.org/api/index.html (end of the page). You can use any SQLite3 access library, for instance you have SQLObject, SQLAlchemy and Storm for python, Sequel for Ruby and possible others.

This package is based on the package 'live555' from project 'home:dmitry_serpokryl:SOAD'.

This code forms a set of C++ libraries for multimedia streaming, using open standard protocols (RTP/RTCP, RTSP, SIP). These libraries - which can be compiled for Unix (including Linux and Mac OS X), Windows, and QNX (and other POSIX-compliant systems) - can be used to build streaming applications. The libraries are already being used to implement applications such as "the LIVE555 Media Server" (a RTSP server application), "liveCaster" and "playRTPMPEG" (for streaming MP3 audio using RTP/RTCP), and "vobStreamer" (for streaming DVD content using RTP/RTCP/RTSP). The libraries can also be used to stream, receive, and process MPEG, H.263+ or JPEG video, and several audio codecs. They can easily be extended to support additional (audio and/or video) codecs, and can also be used to build basic RTSP or SIP clients and servers, and have been used to add streaming support to existing media player applications, such as "VLC" and "MPlayer".

You can always update your live555 to the current state just by rebuilding the .spec file:

rpmbuild -bb live.spec

or by rebuilding the .src.rpm file itself:

rpmbuild --rebuild live-latest*.src.rpm

The new compiled .rpm will be available in /usr/src/packages/RPM/_your_PC_type/

This package is based on the package 'microdc2' from project 'home:dmitry_serpokryl:SOAD'.

microdc is a command-line based Direct Connect client written in C by Oskar Liljeblad and designed to compile and run on modern POSIX compatible systems such as Linux.

After releasing microdc 0.12.0 Vladimir Chugunov have renamed the
project to microdc2 on Oskar's request.

This package is based on the package 'mii-tools' from project 'home:kssingvo'.

This utility checks or sets the status of a network interface's Media Independent Interface (MII) unit. Most fast ethernet adapters use an MII to autonegotiate link speed and duplex setting.

What is that?
NeTAMS stands for Network Traffic Accounting and Monitoring Software. It is built for UNIX and works for networks with Cisco routers or PC Unix routers (Linux/FreeBSD/Solaris). Several methods of traffic gathering are supported (tee/divert/ip_queue/libpcap/ulog/netflow v5 and v9/netgraph), database storage (BerkleyDB/MySQL/PostgresSQL/Oracle/Radius), aggregation, visualization, notification etc. It is possible to block traffic based on quotas, web authorization, account balance (billing); limit bandwidth, check for MAC violations, enable RADIUS services, create flexible accounting and filtering policies
