Involved Projects and Packages
Maintainer Bugowner

I used this service to build packages for opensuse. The packages I build are the one that I found usefull but can't find the RPM for suse. So I put them here to easily share them with others.

Such as:
- KAnyRemote
- etc.

Any suggestions will greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

This package is based on the package 'afio' from project 'Archiving:Backup:MondoRescue'.

This package is based on the package 'afio' from project 'openSUSE:Factory'.

afio makes cpio format archives. It can make compressed cpio archives
that are much safer than compressed tar or cpio archives. afio is best
used as an archive engine in a backup script. Documentation and some
sample scripts are in /usr/share/doc/packages/afio/.

The overall goal of this project is to provide wireless Bluetooth or InfraRed remote control
service on Linux. In contrast with other Bluetooth remote control programs anyremote is not
limited to SonyEriccson or JSR-82 capabled phones. It was developed as just thin "communication" layer
beetween bluetooth-capabled phone and Linux, and in principle could be configured
to manage any software.
But Bluetooth is not the only way to use it. anyRemote could be used with:
- IR-capabled phone
- with cable connection
- it could accept incoming connection from network
- it could in work with Java client written for JSR82 capabled phones (like Bemused).

BlueProximity helps you add a little more security to your desktop. It does so
by detecting one of your bluetooth devices, most likely your mobile phone, and
keeping track of its distance. If you move away from your computer and the
distance is above a certain level (no measurement in meters is possible) for a
given time, it automatically locks your desktop (or starts any other shell
command you want).

Boost provides free peer-reviewed portable C++ source
libraries. The emphasis is on libraries that work well with the C++
Standard Library. One goal is to establish "existing practice" and
provide reference implementations so that the Boost libraries are
suitable for eventual standardization. Some of the libraries have
already been proposed for inclusion in the C++ Standards Committee's
upcoming C++ Standard Library Technical Report.

Although Boost was begun by members of the C++ Standards Committee
Library Working Group, membership has expanded to include nearly two
thousand members of the C++ community at large.

This package contains the dynamic libraries. For development using Boost, you
also need the boost-devel package. For documentation, see the boost-doc package.

This package is based on the package 'buffer' from project 'Archiving:Backup:MondoRescue'.

This package is based on the package 'buffer' from project 'openSUSE:Factory'.

This is a program designed to speed up writing tapes on remote tape
drives. When this program is put "in the pipe," two processes are
started. One process reads from standard-in and the other writes to
standard-out. Both processes communicate via shared memory.

Cross-platform, open-source make system

This package is based on the package 'Crystal' from project 'KDE:Community'.

Crystal is a kwin window decoration theme, which offers you (pseudo) TRANSPARENT
titlebar, buttons and borders. It also has some little usuability enhancements.

Main features:
- The style grabs your wallpaper and uses it as the deco background. It has
several blending modes, i.e. it can fade the background into the defined title
bar color, or it can brighten or darken the wallpaper, as well as blur the
source image to simulate glass.
- Choose the blending color of the buttons.
- You can define the title bar height and border size of the windows.
- Right click on minimize button toggles shade mode.
- Middle click on minimize button sends window to below.
- Double click on program symbol closes window.
- Support for button themes. Basic button theme is included, feel free to swamp
me with cool themes.
- Can show a tooltip of the caption
- Mouse-wheel on the title bar to 'scroll' to all opened windows of the same
desktop.

Disadvantages:
- Crystal needs KDE >=3.2 and QT>=3.2.
- May be very slow and memory consuming
- Don't forget to breathe, while drooling.
