Its purpose is to debug, dump or view digital stream information (e.g. digital
television broadcasts) send via satellite, cable or terrestrial. Streams can be
SI, PES or TS. Basically you can describe dvbsnoop as a "swiss army knife"
analyzing program for DVB, MHP, DSM-CC or MPEG - similar to TCP network sniffer
programs like the old and famous snoop on Sun Solaris or tcpdump on Linux
(which is in fact a kind of a clone of SunOS 'snoop'). You may also analyze
offline mpeg streams, e.g. stored on DVD or mpeg2 movie files.

Control groups, a new kernel feature in Linux 2.6.24 provides a file
system interface to manipulate and control the details on task grouping
including creation of new task groups (control groups), permission
handling and task assignment.

It provides commands to create and manage containers. It contains a
full featured container with the isolation/virtualization of the pids,
the ipc, the utsname, the mount points, /proc, /sys, the network and it
takes into account the control groups. It is very light, flexible, and
provides a set of tools around the container like the monitoring with
asynchronous events notification, or the freeze of the container. This
package is useful to create Virtual Private Server, or to run isolated
applications like bash or sshd.

obexd is an implementation of the Obex Push protocol, common on mobile phones and
other Bluetooth-equipped devices.

This is the second version of the GRUB (Grand Unified Bootloader),
a highly configurable and customizable bootloader with modular
architecture. It support rich scale of kernel formats, file systems,
computer architectures and hardware devices.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a development snapshot, and as such will not
replace grub if you install it, but will be merely added as another
kernel to your existing GRUB menu. Do not replace GRUB (grub package)
with it unless you know what are you doing. Refer to README.openSUSE
file that is part of this package's documentation for more information.

coccigrep is a semantic grep for the C language based on coccinelle (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr). It can be used to find where a given structure is used in code files. coccigrep depends on the spatch program which comes with coccinelle.

Psi is the premiere Instant Messaging application designed for
GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS X. Built upon an open
protocol named Jabber, Psi is a fast and lightweight messaging client
that utilises the best in open source technologies. Psi contains all
the features necessary to chat, with no bloated extras that slow your
computer down.

Sparse is a semantic parser of source files: it's neither a compiler
(although it could be used as a front-end for one) nor is it a
preprocessor (although it contains as a part of it a preprocessing
phase).

It is meant to be a small - and simple - library. Scanty and meager,
and partly because of that easy to use. It has one mission in life:
create a semantic parse tree for some arbitrary user for further
analysis. It's not a tokenizer, nor is it some generic context-free
parser. In fact, context (semantics) is what it's all about - figuring
out not just what the grouping of tokens are, but what the _types_ are
that the grouping implies.

Sparse is primarily used in the development and debugging of the Linux
kernel.

This is a project clone to build the entire openSUSE:Factory for IBM zSystems and LinuxONE.

Scan data needed for some scanning applications from dvb package and maybe
others. This package contains v3 of the files.

The xdg-utils package is a set of simple scripts that provide basic
desktop integration functions for any Free Desktop, such as Linux.
