Evolution
Evolution consists of modular components (at the moment: mailer,
calendar, and address book) that should make daily life easier. Because
of the modular design, it is possible to plug new components into
Evolution or embed the existing ones in other applications.
Evolution Data Server provides a central location for your address book
and calendar in the GNOME Desktop.
evolution-ews is an evolution plugin which allows you to connect evolution to MS Exchange 2007 and 2010 servers. This is based on publicly available Soap based Exchange Web services apis.
With the Connector for Microsoft Exchange installed, Evolution
functions as an Exchange client, enabling users to become full
participants in companywide group scheduling and other collaborative
tasks. Linux and Solaris users can access public folders, Global
Address Lists, e-mail, calendar, task lists, and group scheduling
information.
The GroupWise Connector for Evolution provides a GroupWise backend for
evolution-data-server, as well as plugins for Evolution to access
GroupWise features.
This plugin for Evolution adds RSS Feeds support and enables the use of
Evolution as a RSS Reader.
Mono bindings for Evolution.
This plugin is useful when you want to put evolution in the "tray"
(notification area). While in the tray, evolution is minimized and
is not visible in the pager. Evolution can then be restored on any
workspace.
