The GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is a powerful image
composition and editing program, which can be extremely useful for
creating logos and other graphics for Web pages. The GIMP offers many
of the tools and filters you would expect to find in similar commercial
offerings and contains some interesting extras as well. The GIMP
provides alarge image manipulation toolbox, including channel
operations and layers, effects, subpixel imaging and antialiasing, and
conversions- all including multilevel undo. The GIMP offers a scripting
facility, but many of the included scripts rely on fonts that we cannot
distribute.

This package contains openSUSE splash screen for the GIMP.

The GIMP-GAP (GIMP Animation Package) is a collection of Plug-Ins to
extend the GIMP with capabilities to edit and create animations as
sequences of single frames.

GIMP-Help is a help system designed for use with the internal GIMP help
browser, external Web browser and HTML renderers, and human eyeballs.

Save for Web allows to find compromise between minimal file size and
acceptable quality of image quickly. While adjusting various settings,
you may explore how image and file size change. Options to decrease

The current goal is to allow full color customization of themes, icons,
GDM logins and splash screens. There are already five full
color-schemes available; Brave (Blue), Human (Orange), Wine (Red),
Noble (Purple) and Wise (Green).

GNOME-Colors is mostly inspired/based on Tango, GNOME, Elementary,
Tango-Generator and many other open-source projects.

GNOME Commander is a nice and fast file manager for the GNOME desktop.
In addition to basic file manager functions, the program is also an FTP
client and can browse SMB networks.

This package contains various plugins for GNOME Do.

GNOME application for notifying laptop users about the state of their
dock station and the possibility to undock the system via software,
either from the tray icon, or via a hotkey.

DVB Daemon is a daemon written in Vala to setup your DVB devices,
record and watch TV shows and browse EPG. It can be controlled directly
via its D-Bus interface or with UI applications that come with it.

This package contains extra data files for the gnome-games package. At
the moment this is almost entirely extra themes and artwork for the
games.

GNOME Gmail Notifier is an application that provides periodic updates
that pertain to the user's gmail inbox. The Notifier presents itself
as a system tray icon displaying a small balloon popup when the user
receives new mail.
