Gconf-editor allows you to view and edit the values that are stored in
the gconf database. This database is used for application settings in
the GNOME Desktop Environment.
GConf is a configuration database system for storing application
preferences. It supports default or mandatory settings set by the
administrator, and changes to the database are instantly applied to all
running applications. It is written for the GNOME desktop but doesn't
require it.
This package provides openSUSE defaults for configurations based

This package provides a C++ interface for GConf. It is a subpackage of

gdk-pixbuf is an image loading library that can be extended by loadable
modules for new image formats. It is used by toolkits such as GTK+ or
Clutter.
Gnome Devtool Libraries contains components and libraries that are
intended to be shared between GNOME development tools, including
gnome-debug, gnome-build, and anjuta2.
libgtksourceviewmm is a C++ wrapper for the gtksourceview widget
library. It offers all the power of gtksourceview with an interface
familiar to c++ developers, including users of the gtkmm library.

This package provides the openSUSE default configuration for gdm.
Geany is a small and lightweight integrated development environment.
It was developed to provide a small and fast IDE, which has only a
few dependencies from other packages. Another goal was to be as
independent as possible from a special Desktop Environment like KDE
or GNOME. So it is using only the GTK2 toolkit and therefore you need
only the GTK2 runtime libraries to run Geany.
Geany-Plugins is a collection of different plugins for Geany,
a lightweight IDE.
In 2011 Yorba broke ground on a new email application for the GNOME desktop. Codenamed Geary, Yorba plans to bring to the open source community a new lightweight, easy-to-use, feature-rich email client. Our long-term vision for Geary is an email client built for daily use that can be used in place of or alongside Web-based email services. Features we're planning include:

Gedit is a small and lightweight UTF-8 text editor for the GNOME
environment.
gedit code assistance is a plugin for gedit which provides code assistance for C, C++ and Objective-C by utilizing clang.
gedit collaboration plugin provides support for collaborative editing in gedit.
It uses libinfinity 0.5 and should work with any infinote 0.5 server.
gedit-cossa is a CSS previewer for GTK+ themes, integrating with gedit so the edited CSS is promptly visible in the various samples. gedit-cossa may be easily extended with more samples and allows zooming these to help get the tiny details right.
This plugin turns the editor gedit into a productive environment for editing LaTeX documents and managing BibTeX bibliographies.
NOTE: It has been packaged dependent on arch to abuse from the %{_libdir} macro to package it. Needs testing.

you're using spaces
* Show tabbar A very basic plugin which shows or hides the gedit tabbar
* Terminal A simple terminal widget accessible from the bottom panel
GQview is a browser for graphic files. It offers single click viewing
of graphics files, including thumbnail view, zoom, filtering features,
and external editor support.
Genius is a general purpose calculator program similar in some aspects
to BC, Matlab, Maple or Mathematica. It is useful both as a simple
calculator and as a research or educational tool. The syntax is very
intuitive and is designed to mimic how mathematics is usually written.
GEL is the name of its extension language, it stands for Genius
Extension Language, clever isn't it? In fact, many of the standard
genius functions are written in GEL itself.
