Benchmark measures AIO performance on file system and raw device.
aiostress will open or create each file on the command line,
and start a series aio to it. aio is done in a rotating loop.
first file1 gets 8 requests, then file2, then file3 etc.
As each file finishes writing, it is switched to reads.
io buffers are aligned in case you want to do raw io.

A test of mechanism for assigning a set of CPUs and Memory Nodes
to a set of tasks. cpusets constrain the CPU and Memory placement
of tasks to only the resources within a tasks current cpuset.

The Phoronix Test Suite consists of a lightweight processing core(pts-core)
with each benchmark consisting of an XML-based profile with related
resource scripts.The process from the benchmark installation,to the
actual benchmarking,to the parsing of important hardware and software
components is heavily automated and completely repeatable,asking usrs
only for confirmation of actions.
