An Enhanced Interactive Python Shell

Edit Package IPython

IPython provides a replacement for the interactive python (Python)
interpreter with extra functionality.

Main features:

* Comprehensive object introspection.

* Input history that is persistent across sessions.

* Caching of output results during a session with automatically
generated references.

* Readline-based name completion.

* Extensible system of 'magic' commands for controlling the
environment and performing many tasks related either to IPython
or the operating system.

* Configuration system with easy switching between different setups
(simpler than changing $PYTHONSTARTUP environment variables every
time).

* Session logging and reloading.

* Extensible syntax processing for special purpose situations.

* Access to the system shell with user-extensible alias system.

* Easily embeddable in other Python programs.

* Integrated access to the pdb debugger and the Python profiler.

Revision 23 (latest revision is 36)
Ismail Dönmez's avatar Ismail Dönmez (namtrac) committed (revision 23)
This SR updates IPython to 0.13.1 and does a number of fixes in the Python 3
package, ensuring that docs aren't installed twice, and that man pages have
correct names. The rename hack is no longer required as upstream puts "3" next
to the binaries now.

- Update to 0.13.1
  - New major upstream release
  - Major notebook improvements
  - Major improvements to the Qt console
  - Improvement of parallel tools

- Remove the renames (now setuptools adds a -3 suffix automatically)
- Fix man pages (rename them accordingly, fixes rpmlint warning)
