Just observed tearing on near top of screen. (AMD Ryzen 3 3200U) patch
N_amdgpu-present-Check-tiling-for-newer-versions-too.patch
is the culprit. I removed the patch on my branch and tearing is gone.sndirsch wrote 8 months ago
Unfortunately we cannot easily drop that patch due to this:

I see. There is a workaround in where you can force TearFree, https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AMDGPU#Tear_free_rendering
