General-purpose programming language and runtime environment

Edit Package erlang
http://www.erlang.org

Erlang is a general-purpose programming language and runtime environment. Erlang has built-in support for concurrency, distribution and fault tolerance. Erlang is used in several large telecommunication systems from Ericsson.

ATTENTION. Every submit request MUST be declined. This is not real erlang package. erlang package for Factory is located and developed at devel:languages:erlang:Factory.

Revision 58 (latest revision is 84)
Marcus Rueckert's avatar Marcus Rueckert (darix) accepted request 140348 from Sascha Peilicke's avatar Sascha Peilicke (saschpe) (revision 58)
Merge devel:languages:misc/erlang. This is the current devel package, back then coolo didn't want to have another devel project (i.e. devel:languages:erlang).
Now the situation changed. Afterwards, I will do a change_devel request to this package and drop the one from devel:languages:misc.

p.s. Feel free to add me as the maintainer or you'll get some more reviews soon ;-)

- Use SPDX-style license (ErlPL-1.1)
- Merge changes from devel:languages:misc/erlang, which is still the
  devel project for Factory.

- Avoid shipping libraries with licensing issues (see bnc#728667)
+ Neither ship 'diameter' source or binary and remove the corresponding
    but useless man pages
+ The xmerl binary (library) is safe to ship, but not it's sources
    (fixes bnc#776060)

- Add erlang-ppc.patch: Fix PPC architecture detection

- Simply use java-devel >= 1.6.0 as it expands to correct jdk on every
  distribution
- Drop files with propriatery license (diameter and xmerl) (bnc#728667)
