Is there a specific reason why this package is not in Factory?
the package is in factory and also up2date there.
It turned out that the documented package name was incorrect. I fixed it: https://en.opensuse.org/index.php?title=openSUSE%3APackaging_Ruby&type=revision&diff=134656&oldid=120904
Since a few months (?) it seems this package doesn't build the additional versions for eg. ruby3.1 or ruby3.4 and I believe that is also the reason why a lot of rubygems in devel:languages:ruby:extensions are no longer built for multiple ruby versions.
I don't really get what's changed to cause this, so unfortunately no fix/suggestion from my side :-(.
