chkdown
Search the web for file checksums, verify downloads
chkdown is a console utility that can simplify the process of verifying downloads. It automatically calculates checksums and searches the web for them. Desktop toast (popup notification) showing the results can be performed. Run it in your Download directory and it will check the newest files, OR create a desktop icon & drag files on to it.
