Update: [2025-05-09] No new builds for a while. Zed keep breaking their dependencies every other day. Starting from v0.185.13 onward, don't expect package maintainers to be able to build Zed offline. It's clear they don't care about proper packaging. [https://github.com/zed-industries/zed/issues/30093#issuecomment-2860350279]
I've also started to use Zed less and less for this exact reason. Zed is always evolving and it's simply not feasible to update do this anymore when they're not willing to help us with it.
Update: [2025-03-21] Unlinked from https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/editors/zed since it's broken. I will keep this updated for as long as I use Zed.
Update: Successfully built Zed v0.171.3 fully offline with zero pre-built binaries. That should tell you why the source is over 4GB in size. No thanks to Google and the ridiculous requirement of having the whole Chromium toolchain to build a single module.
It's still not building on aarch64, unfortunately.
Disabled building since it's a waste of time and power. WebRTC is having errors. Not to mention I forgot to add the zed source archive as well...
