DNX is a Nagios event broker (NEB) plugin and client daemon. The plugin registers to handle Nagios checks, and them farms them out to a network of DNX client services. The client performs the check and returns the results to the NEB module, which posts them back to Nagios. With DNX, Nagios is highly scaleable.
