Hi,
Could you add the "USE_PROMEX=1" make flag to your builds to enable Prometheus?
This flag is available since version 2.4.x: https://github.com/prometheus/haproxy_exporter#official-prometheus-exporter
In the official Ubuntu repository (https://launchpad.net/haproxy) that flag is enabled: https://launchpadlibrarian.net/579895264/buildlog_ubuntu-jammy-amd64.haproxy_2.4.12-1ubuntu1_BUILDING.txt.gz
And also in the official CentOS 9 repository: http://mirror.stream.centos.org/9-stream/AppStream/source/tree/Packages/haproxy-2.4.7-1.el9.src.rpm
