Vi clone with terminal and X11 user interfaces.
Elvis is an old text editor, compatible with vi. It has all the usual extensions (multiple buffers, multiple windows, syntax coloring, etc.) plus a variety of display modes including "html" and "man". Elvis used to be the default vi clone in the first versions of SuSE Linux.
