Hello,

After installing the current version of this package, freac didn't start properly, but issued a popup claiming that freac.so could not be found. However, it works correctly if doing export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:/usr/lib64/freac/ or sudo ln -s /usr/lib64/freac/freac.so /usr/lib64/freac.so. As far as I can see, freac-librarypath.patch would be supposed to fix this, so I suspect the patch might be incomplete or not have applied correctly?

Thanks!

Thank you for your information. Should be fixed now and package was updated to 1.1.6. Can you please test it and give me a reply?

Thanks for the quick response and the update. Works perfectly now!

Being an (openSUSE) beginner I just added your repo and installed fre:ac package (two additional packages (BoCA-plugins and libboca) are installed). Ripping from an audio CD does not do as the symbol for reading CD doesn't show up. When removing your repository, BoCA-plugins isn't removed (!), but a message pops-up that by removing libboca, BoCA-plugins need it. So I removed BoCA-plugins manually. (Installing fre:ac as actual continous appImage: everything does well).

The package runs perfect. Why should package remove when you drop the repo? And it seems you have mixed libraries. I think this was the reason why freac not run for you. And I don't like flatpak for the well-known reasons.

What I did (step-by-step). Add your repo and install manually for Leap 15.6: https://software.opensuse.org/download/package?package=freac&project=home%3Aecsos#manualopenSUSE No problems (installs 3 packages). Start fre:ac All fine, BUT no GUI symbol (2nd) for CD-read (only 3 symbols). Moreover: Pressing help wants to open /usr/share/doc/freac/manual/index_en.html which doesn't exist. I don't see where I had the opportunity to "mix up libraries". "The package runs perfect." (???) I would not agree to that.

You're absolutely right. I always use Audex, so I didn't notice that. The previous speaker said, “Works perfectly now.” But I think I've fixed both errors. Help should now work, and the missing buttons should now be there. Can you please test it and give me feedback?

I tested and confirm that both errors are gone. Thank you for making available fre:ac at your repository!
