A library for generating PDF documents from Tcl
One can create pdf files from Tcl scripts, with these features and objects:
* compressed pdf
* dumping canvas to pdf
* lines, arrows, rectangles, circles, ovals, arcs, curves
* set stroke and fill colour
* set line style (thickness and dashes)
* simple text strings, left or right aligned or centered
* text boxes with left or right aligned, centered or fully justified text.
* rotated text
* text with skewed characters
* use adobe standard fonts, for which pdf4tcl has built in knowledge about the font metrics
* use other fonts, type1 or truetype fonts can be embedded
* jpeg and png images, plus support for raw image data
* add bookmarks and metadata
* pdf4tcl knows about most commonly used paper dimensions, you can provide your own, too.
* pages can be built top-down or bottom-up
