lightweight messaging kernel

Edit Package zeromq

The 0MQ lightweight messaging kernel is a library which extends the standard socket interfaces with features traditionally provided by specialised messaging middleware products. 0MQ sockets provide an abstraction of asynchronous message queues, multiple messaging patterns, message filtering (subscriptions), seamless access to multiple transport protocols and more.

This openSUSE Build Service repository provides zeromq with additional build options, as well as packages that may be installed parallel to libzmq5 for draft sockets support.

Primary changes, juxtaposed to the upstream openSUSE zeromq packages at this time:
- building with clang 15, LLVM 15 as available in openSUSE Leap
- building with TLS, NSS, GSSAPI
- providing an additional set of packages built with draft sockets support. These packages may be installed concurrent to the libraries supporting only the normative ZeroMQ sockets. Instructions for usage in third-party libraries are available in a README installed with the libzmq5-draft-devel package
- providing an additional zeromq-doc-html package

This is an unofficial, user-contributed repository, not formally affiliated with openSUSE or ZeroMQ projects
