# linux-cachyos — CachyOS Kernel for openSUSE

RPM packaging of the [CachyOS kernel](https://github.com/cachyos/linux-cachyos) for **openSUSE Tumbleweed** and **Slowroll**, built with Clang/LLVM.

## Features

- **BORE scheduler** (Burst-Oriented Response Enhancer) — significantly improves desktop responsiveness and interactivity under mixed workloads
- **LTO** (Link-Time Optimization) — whole-program optimization with Clang/LLVM produces a leaner, faster kernel binary
- **ADIOS I/O scheduler** — adaptive deadline I/O scheduling for reduced latency
- **Cachy Sauce** — a curated set of additional performance and latency patches
