# Packaging

Opposing to official far2l; it is not the clean package but it is looks like an bundle. It includes some extra plug-ins enabled and packaged in addition to vanilla far2l.

To install richest bundle, just choose *far2l-desktop*; it will bring everything and will suggest to install several 3rd party packages that can be utilized efficiently by far2l (if installed).

For case you are limited to terminal emulators, or you have server without X11/Wayland, the *far2l-server* is your choice.

If you want to make your own composition, it is easy; the far2l and plug-ins are repackaged to separate pieces so you can install certain parts you need (see below the details).

# Far2l

Far2l is classic two-panel file manager with tons of functionality, including but not limited to

* GUI look and feel;
* Console-based look and feel, with all keyboard combinations and clipboard, even in MacOS iTerm and Windows Terminal in Windows;
* Stacked support of far2l (in case remote far2l have spawned from local far2l. remote copy shares keyboard and clipboard from local instance);

* Network shares support transparently, including Windows, FTP(S), SFTP, FISH, WebDAV and clouds.
* Embedded shell with completions and advanced terminal emulator for console applications
