I received an update of wine-9.21-13.15 -> 9.21-13.33 that appears to be totally borked.
I am trying to rebuild an older version to be able to bisect which change is causing the issue. See https://discord.com/channels/366985425371398146/1434210485250691082 - I am not sure how to map the revisions in this repor to the full names of the package. I know that -13.15 was okay, but when I build the package via osc it is always called
wine-9.21-0.x86_64.rpm.There weren't any updates, just rebuilds only. The problem (I guess) is in the recent TW kernel. You're using TW, right?

Yes I am using TW. How can the kernel affect this? If the wine updates are just rebuilds, what triggers them? Dependency and toolchain updates?
I am now on wine-9.21-19.24. Right now running win installers does not work. Moving the mouse into the window will make the mouse pointer disappear. Some open a dialog at some point that is tiny, pure white and can't be resized.
i don't think its the tw kernel related issue, after rolling back to snapshot with wine 9.21-13.29 added lock to wine then ran the zypper dup, it just works fine with latest tw kernel(atleast for now)
I also have the pagefaulting wine-staging version. I couldn't even start winemine. Switching on Tumbleweed to the version wine-staging-9.21-lp160.13.2.x86_64.rpm from Leap 16.0 improves things a bit so I can start winemine and winecfg now, but it still pagefaults on wineboot or a full application.
Really hope this can get fixed soon as it prevents users from running any VSTs in music software.
hello , i have some problems since the 13.33 update and held back the reverted 13.15 until 19.xx came around a good week ago . at first glance everything looked right with 19.xx as all plugins ran fine with yabridge . but i also had some standalone synth and programs that are from around 2000 ... those programs do start but the mouse and the menu bar are invisible . more recent standalone synths and programs do run fine and render mouse and menus just fine .for the older software the mouse is there, as it registers button clicks and changing the main menu strip color on the hovered menu item, but no collapsing menu like file , view , etc are shown . when i shake the mouse on such a window the mouse pointer grows out of nowhere , as i turned on accessibility . i then used a 9.21 Kron4ek build from a home/bin folder, to start those programs wich are in different prefixes including the default one and they just run fine with the mouse and menus visible . because of this i assume that it might be this build that still has a problem . tumbleweed , wayland , ryzen pro 4750u , vega 7 .
