Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client

Edit Package electrum
https://electrum.org

Electrum is an easy to use Bitcoin wallet. It protects you from losing coins in a backup mistake or computer failure, because your wallet can be recovered from a secret phrase that you can write on paper or learn by heart. There is no waiting time when you start the client, because it does not download the Bitcoin blockchain.

Electrum is currently broken by python3-protobuf-3.9.2 found in the base repositories:

AttributeError: module 'google.protobuf.descriptor' has no attribute '_internal_create_key'

The current work around is to add the devel repo and pull the newer protobuf package:

sudo zypper ar https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/languages:/python/openSUSE_Leap_15.3/devel:languages:python.repo
sudo zypper up --allow-vendor-change python3-protobuf

An interesting project, I like the use of new developments and ideas in the field of cryptocurrencies. I myself am interested in the development of NFT, Defi and marketplaces, and crypto exchanges and found EvaCodes defi consulting if there is a desire, you can develop your own Defi program with the help of professionals

There are two main ways on how to store crypto: online wallets (hot wallets) and offline wallets (cold wallets). The best option for you depends on your individual needs, particularly the amount of crypto you hold and how often you plan to trade it.
