Attempt to install dkms with running kernel-longterm forces to install kernel-syms which pulls kernel-default-devel. Shouldn't kernel-syms-longterm provide kernel-longterm just to avoid pulling kernel-default-devel even if we are using a longterm kernel?

Please open a bug report.

While it's not ideal that installing dkms pulls in kernel-default-devel it is not clear how the rpm dependencies should be changed for this to work correctly.
