Powerful Calulator application
Qalculate! is a modern multi-purpose desktop calculator for GNU/Linux. It is
small and simple to use but with much power and versatility underneath.
Features include customizable functions, units, arbitrary precision, plotting,
and a graphical interface that uses a one-line fault-tolerant expression entry
(although it supports optional traditional buttons).
This is the commandline interface, named qalc.

Have been trying to install on leap 15.1 for several times but does not work!
The 2.2.1 version available in Leap 15.1?
non of 2.2.1 and 3.3 works
I didn't see any bug report
I just tested on Tumbleweed as well. the same issue there. after installation, there is nothing to run in /usr/share path.
install the recommended packages.
done that. It is a bit weird. it is qalc not qalculate when searching on terminal. and has no desktop
There's no gui, why would there be a desktop file exactly?
I might be wrong, but I expected to get the same as I can see on their https://qalculate.github.io/ and GTK desktop
That's qalculate-gtk, which is a separate tarball.
It's available in the GNOME:Apps repo:
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/GNOME:Apps/qalculate-gtk
But hasn't been submitted to Factory yet...
Can we please get qalculate-gtk added to factory? I don't understand why this is available without the GUI being in factory at all...
because its a library which can be used without the GUI ...
