Automatically Tuned Linear Algebra Software (ATLAS)

Edit Package libatlas3

The ATLAS (Automatically Tuned Linear Algebra Software) project is an ongoing research effort focusing on applying empirical techniques in order to provide portable performance. At present, it provides C and Fortran77 interfaces to a portably efficient BLAS implementation, as well as a few routines from LAPACK.

NOTE: The best way to use ATLAS is to download the source rpm and compile it on your own computer. After all, ATLAS means Automatically Tuned and it does automatically tune itself to achieve the best performance on the given computer.
