This Grafana plugin adds the Discrete panel to Grafana: https://grafana.com/plugins/natel-discrete-panel This panel can be used to display a time line of discrete information (such as "service up/down") and can deal with multiple metrics (e.g. in the case of a highly available service on multiple hosts). Singlestat panel, which is usually employed for this purpose, cannot do this.
