Scalable OpenGroupware.org (Inverse edition)

Edit Package SOGo4

SOGo is fully supported and trusted groupware server with a focus on scalability and open standards. SOGo is released under the GNU GPL/LGPL v2 and above.

SOGo provides a rich AJAX-based Web interface and supports multiple native clients through the use of standard protocols such as CalDAV, CardDAV and GroupDAV, as well as Microsoft ActiveSync.

SOGo is the missing component of your infrastructure; it sits in the middle of your servers to offer your users an uniform and complete interface to access their information. It has been deployed in production environments where thousands of users are involved.

On official site there exist not version 4 anymore. Only version 2 and version 5. But in OBS exists only version 4 but not version 5 Will here version 5 generate or is except version 2 all deprecated and out of live?

sogo5 is the successor of sogo4 (and sogo3) sogo2 is still available (with legacy GUI) and used in production.

My suggetion: Maintain only two versions Sogo (actual-version 5) and Sogo-legacy (Sogo2)

Opensuse builds should be maintained more often, i know. For my usecase i switched to docker containers https://hub.docker.com/repository/docker/cschweingruber/sogo5

hm. You are maintainer of sogo. So. Will it give a version 5 or not? Or do you no more work as maintainer for sogo? I don't like docker for this. But when it will not give a version 5, i think sogo > 2 is dead here and sould be delete.

I will continue to maintain sogo builds for opensuse. There will be a Package Sogo5 asap. What is your opgnon for my suggestion of the nameing schema?
