Herbster, Great job on compiz 8.8. I used compiz from 10.3 until the ATI drop legacy support in the fglrx driver. I tried your packages, and I was able to start and run compiz from the command line. (fusion-icon fails with "No module named interface_qt4, No module ... _qt3, ..._gtk"). The one big issue I found was there was no "Emerald Theme Manager" available for 13.1 (anywhere). So there was no convenient way to change the default decorations on compiz start. Do you know what happened to that package? In the old days I believe it was provided by a package like compiz-emerald-0.7.8-2.3.i586.rpm. It then moved into ccsm directly. There is no emerald theme switcher in the current ccsm (or I am missing some base library). Any ideas? Thanks.
Disregard - I found it buried in the kde menu. Thanks for the good work. Glad you a building for leap as well. Please also build the compiz-kde3 package. The current 8.8 compiz-kde3 package is in the KDE:/KDE3 repo and should be a simple branch and add.
compiz-kde3 is enabled and built now.
