Elixir provides a sandboxed Javascript engine with several bindings for system/network (ECore), graphics (Evas/Edje), sounds (libSDL_mixer) and data (SQLite).

The Javascript engine is build on top of the SpiderMonkey engine.

Elixir is open source and already and freely available for users and developpers on the Freebox HS set top boxes provided by the French Internet service provider (ISP) "Free".
