Robot Operating System

This project has been setup to build ROS (Robot Operating System) for SLE & Opensuse. 


The builds supplied by ROS are built on Ubuntu. So there may be some coding changes needed to make this work on Suse. 

I plan to only put the core components of ROS in this project plus any library dependencies that I might encounter. This should keep this project manageable. Much of ROS is built using their own build systems (catkin and rosbuild) which are built as part of the core packages so the core should be sufficient to get started. I will also add some commonly used ROS components and bits I find useful to this project

ROS already has their own build farm for Ubuntu (http://jenkins.ros.org) which I am not going to try to replicate.

This project does not contain any packages
