Question about procrastination

Hi! I would like to ask you a slightly unusual question that has been circling around in my head for a long time. When you encounter procrastination - that state when it seems like important things are waiting and deadlines are looming, but you put everything off until later - how do you feel it inside? Is it more like an internal dialogue, a feeling of fear before the task, a loss of meaning in the moment, or something else?

Interesting question, thank you for asking! When I encounter procrastination, I usually feel not fear or loss of meaning inside, but rather internal overload - as if there are too many tasks, and the brain just "freezes", not knowing where to start. It is not so much laziness as an attempt of the psyche to protect itself from overload. I have learned to perceive procrastination as a signal: "pause, reconsider priorities, breathe." Recognizing the fact itself - without feeling guilty - helps a lot. Sometimes it is enough to simply write out the tasks step by step and do the first, simplest of them. I was very helped by the article, which clearly explains that procrastination is not an enemy, but a part of our psyche that can be understood and directed.
