Not that I know anything about this. But isn't this more of a multimedia:apps than a multimedia:libs?

I wasn't sure whether multimedia:apps or multimedia:libs was correct either.

This isn't really an application, just a tool. And the info for multimedia:libs says:

Multimedia Libraries, Codecs and Command Line Tools
and

Command line utilities without GUI toolkit dependencies can be
placed into this project as well.

But it makes not a bit of difference to me.
