I could, but I don't see the need, as it builds for 42.2 and it's the same version already available for 42.1, so the existing build should be there still.
Thank you for your quick response!
JFYI: I asked because some people still have old versions up and running - but want to benefit from newer applications. That might not 100% fit for ignuit in this case, but I guess some small adaptions might be worth the price of getting more users.
Thanks for all your work!
Would it be ok for you to integrate the patch (and the spec file changes) into a version that also builds on older (openSUSE) versions?
Something like:
%if 0%{suse_version} < 01315 BuildRequires: gstreamer010-devel %else
Needed for ignuit-port-to-gstreamer.patch
BuildRequires: libtool BuildRequires: pkgconfig(gstreamer-1.0) >= 1.8.2
PATCH-FIX-UPSTREAM ignuit-port-to-gstreamer.patch zaitor@opensuse.org -- Port to gstreamer-1.0
Patch: ignuit-port-to-gstreamer.patch %endif
in the header and according entries in %prep and %build to have the fix only for younger openSUSE versions?

Did 455076 - here I tweak the upstream patch to be ok with older versions of GST-1.0
