That last change is not good:
libGL.so.1 must not be provided by VirtualBox - it would potentially confuse zypper and cause more issues than we'd like to see
As far as I understand the situation, VirtualBox is not providing libGL.so. It is providing a run-time replacement for people that want 3D acceleration. What am I not seeing?
