and right use of fdubes is :
A common use for %python_expand is with fdupes, as in:
%python_expand %fdupes %{buildroot}%{$python_sitelib}/mymodule

The setup.py test does not really run any tests, if you see the buildlog it says 0 tests run. Also it might be good idea to run %fdupes in install phase.
The same here. Other maintainer say i should remove fdupe. Now you say it is better. What next? This is pingpong. And the process takes many unnecessary time. :-(
You are having some trouble with english, the other maintainer told you quite exactly that your fdupes call is wrong and now to fix it...
That's right, sometimes. But it's new request on the way. With fdupes.
