@StefanBruens Just for interest sake, I assume that the failure to find llvm mcjit is because openSUSE packages this in one library, I found the symbols in libLLVM.so. I don't know if this is the norm or not therefore the cmake define of the path is correct or am I wrong?

There is no issue with LLVMMCJIT in the blender package, only in OSL.

For OSL, I have added comments what is required and why it is required.
