This package is used to enable firmware loading for certain Qualcomm 3G modems. The driver is included in the kernel but the device is inoperable until the firmware is loaded. Currently, users are either building this package themselves or getting it from my home project. It should be included in the distro.
Updated to use RPM Group of Hardware/Modem.
